About Us

My name is Dalton Scheuring. I am native to Oakes, ND where I was born and raised. I grew up working and learning the trade of butchering on our family farm. I then decided to pursue the passion I obtained at a young age and started to work at Valley Meat Supply in Valley City, ND for 6 years. When I heard my local butcher shop was up for sale in Oakes ND and decided to pursue a new adventure. From then I decided to purchase the butcher shop and take my talents that I learned over the years back to my hometown in Oakes. Bringing my new found skills and passions back to my hometown has taught me a lot about the community. I have learned how to better myself along with continuing to provide help. and give back to my hometown community. I am an Avid outdoors man who loves to hunt and fish. I have a passion for anything that involves food!

I am the sole owner of The Butcher Shop, Inc. We as a company including the employees are proud to assist and answer any questions that you may have. We take pride in our customer service and providing the best quality products to our customers.

We slaughter beef on Wednesdays and hogs and lambs on Fridays.
